And I can almost always guarantee that text AdSense units should be placed directly under all of your articles for maximum clicks and earnings. Also, depending on your particular niche, you might wanna test placing image or text AdSense units on the left and right-hand sides of your content. And whatever you do, always make sure those AdSense units are going to be in a place where your readers will see them. If you do just that one simple thing,you’ll always have,at the very least, some descent earnings if you get enough traffic. If you don’t get that much traffic, it will be hard to earn a lot with Google AdSense,but at least with these techniques, you can up your “click through” ratio with whatever traffic you do get.

You can sell your own products, or you can sell other people’s products through affiliate programs. Whichever route you go, the one thing that is for sure, is that you will need to sell something. The good news is that you have a content blog or website that can get good, free traffic with good article writing and seo (search engine optimization) techniques. I personally recommend just signing up for some affiliate programs to sell other people’s stuff because that’s the quickest method. You can sign up for affiliate programs at two of the oldest and established affiliate companies, which are Commissionjunction and Linkshare.

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll need to apply with the companies that you want to market,and wait for them to approve you. Some of them will approve you instantly,while some make you wait a few days. Once you get approved, write a couple of informative articles on the company’s product or service,and what they can do to help or benefit people,making good use of keywords. Next, add your affiliate links in the articles so people can click on them and make purchases through your links so you can get paid. Then post the articles on your blog.

After that, start bookmarking them on social bookmarking networks so that you can create good one-way backlinks to your website and get them indexed by top search engines very quickly. Continue doing this multiple times,and you’ll start to see your articles slowly moving up the ranks,giving you more traffic,along with more opportunities to make money off of it by selling affiliate products. You can find more bookmarking sites by doing a simple Google search,but these are the ones I’ve found to personally work best. They get you great initial traffic,plus they help you get indexed in search engines a lot quicker so you can get even more traffic.

The social bookmarking sites get crawled by Google more often,and if your posts are their,it will crawl your link,and index it. It will also more likely give it a high ranking in its search results. I’ve done it many times. It’s great. It’s all about getting your content out to as many free places you can to create linkbacks to your site,which is what free social bookmarking sites do.
