In this article, I’m going to reveal another source of income that you can add to your website to generate some extra cash each month. You’ve probably already heard of them since they’ve been around for a while now. They are Infolinks. And while they don’t pay the most, they are a solid performer each month for my entertainment news site. I make an extra $200 to $300 a month revenue out of about 600,000 impressions each month for the entertainment niche. They may pay higher for other niches, but for the entertainment related sites, that’s about around as much as you can expect from them.
I think it’s a solid extra income to go along with the other networks I currently use. Infolinks works by having you insert a simple piece of code into your site, just above the closing tag. From there, it will highlight certain words in the body of your content with double underlines. When people scroll over the highlighted words with their mouse, it will bring up an ad. When people click the ad,you earn a percentage of money from that click. If you get quite a bit of traffic ,the money can add up pretty fast. The ads are known as in-text ads,or inline text ads
Infolinks fluctuates with their cost per click. Some days I’ll see 0.10 cents cost per click,or 0.05 cents cost per click on other days. However, they do consistently pull in an extra $200 to $300 a month for my entertainment news site, and I’ll take that any day. The idea when trying to monetize your website,is to use as many sources as you can so that they add up to be a lot of money. That extra $200 to $300 a month is part of a much bigger chain of income sources that help me generate $4,000 to $6,000 a month from my entertainment site, Also, remember if you have a higher paying niche website like insurance, credit cards, or travel, you could make a lot more with them. You can sign up for Infolinks by Clicking Here.
